Penn SL612S66 Slammer Spinning Rod
A redesigned classic, the Penn
Slammer Rod has been upgraded both cosmetically as well as functionally for
improved performance and durability. Formerly, these rods featured a white,
heavy-walled glass blank which was more akin to a broomstick than a fishing
rod. The standard, redesigned Slammer rods feature a charcoal colored,
lightweight, but powerful glass blank.
Anglers will notice immediately,
a more user-friendly, faster tapered blank that provides for improved leverage,
fish-fighting power, as well as a much better feel.

Penn SL612S66 Slammer Spinning Rod
The lighter action Spinning Rods
feature quality-graded cork for maximum angler feel and comfort on the lighter
actioned rods. Two cosmetic schemes were developed; one for spinning, one for
conventional. Spinning Rods feature red and gold-checked threadwork to
compliment the Penn Spinfisher and Slammer Reel Series.
