This series allows anglers to customize their purchases by offering both the tip section without the AFTCO® Unibutt® or the entire rod including the AFTCO® Unibutt®. Offering both options allows for those who already own AFTCO® butts the flexibility to purchase the tip sections only.

Shimano has engineered the new responsive TC4 Construction to elevate your fishing experience. The TC4 Construction wraps a double inner layer of advanced, dynamic T Glass with an inner and outer spiral of high modulus graphite. This breakthrough in design construction results in an extremely durable, crisp, yet lightweight rod.

•AFTCO® Heavy Duty Roller Guides

The AFTCO® Heavy Duty roller guide set is designed for heavy lines and large knot clearance. These roller guides and tips are featured on selected Tallus® Stand Up rods and are ideal for big game trolling, deep water and stand up style tuna rods. All bearings are Aftcote™ coated with a Teflon® dry film lubricant for high performance.

•Fuji® SiC Silicon Carbide Guides

These guides are extremely lightweight, yet ready to take punishment. Fuji® states their unique frame design makes it “virtually impossible for line to tangle; even braided lines, which are notorious for their line tangling ability. The frames “Deep Press” design seats the ring so well that even knots or swivels can’t damage it.”

•AFTCO® Super Heavy Duty Swivel Tip Guide

This custom Shimano® anodized black swivel tip is the ultimate choice for wireline fishing. It keeps the line in the center of the roller, eliminating wear on the sides of the guide frame. The oversized stainless steel roller is designed to minimize stress on the wire and is fitted with Aftcote™ roller bearings.

•AFTCO Unibutt

The one piece aluminum Unibutt is precision machined so the pin-plug, gimbal, fixed hood and ferrule are in perfect alignment with the guides. A Teflon® O-ring at the ferrule assures a snug fit, keeps out moisture and prevents corrosion. The hoods are custom anodized in Shimano Tiagra gold and the curved Unibutt increases your leverage by as much as 30% while in a fighting chair.

This foregrip design uses a unique black diamond pattern rubber that is designed for functional non-slip durability and maximum comfort.
