A new Shimano exclusive proprietary construction that uses three different composite materials – including carbon for sensitivity and lightweight and T-glass for durability - and chemically bonds them together in the manufacturing process. This creates an incredibly light, sensitive and durable rod and Shimano is able to overcome the adage that an ultra durable rod had to have heavy feel to it.

Shimano uses contemporary components to match the current fishing trends and styles. Stainless Steel guides are used for corrosion protection and are perfectly suited for use with Power-Pro braided line as well as monofilament. The custom Graphite reel seats provide secure reel placement as well as decreased weight.
